About CallIntel
Built by people who know what happens when the phone rings at an insurance agency.
Over 35 years of combined experience across insurance technology, healthcare data systems, product management, and cybersecurity strategy. We built the tool we always wished existed.
Who Built This (and Why)
CallIntel was built by two people who have spent their careers inside the systems that insurance agencies depend on. One architecting the technology strategy, the other making sure the technology actually works the way people need it to.
Between us, we bring over 35 years of combined experience across insurance technology, healthcare data systems, business analysis, product management, and cybersecurity strategy. We've seen what happens when tools are adopted without purpose, and we've spent our careers fixing it.
That shared frustration is what CallIntel is.
The Background
Matt Slade
Co-Founder
Over 25 years working directly with insurance agencies. Not as a vendor pushing software, but as a strategist helping agencies understand what they actually need and why.
That work spans cybersecurity consulting, agency management system selection and implementation, VoIP strategy, AI adoption, and compliance. Always anchored to the specific demands of a regulated, relationship-driven industry.
Published author on cybersecurity for insurance professionals. CE course instructor across the industry. A clear-eyed view of where technology in this space consistently fails the people using it.
Polina Yoshimura
Co-Founder
A career built at the intersection of complex systems and the humans who depend on them. Translating business needs into technical requirements across healthcare, energy, and enterprise data environments.
Led product roadmaps, driven large-scale data migrations, overhauled broken processes, and built the kind of analytical rigor that turns good ideas into reliable systems.
Background includes roles at Intel, major regional healthcare organizations, and enterprise-level business systems teams where the stakes of getting it wrong were real and measurable.
Together, we cover both sides of the problem CallIntel solves: the strategic why and the operational how.
The Philosophy
AI That Assists, Not Replaces
AI that gives agents better information at the moment they need it. Not AI that replaces the human relationship that makes insurance work in the first place.
Security From Day One
Security built into the architecture from the start, not retrofitted after something goes wrong. AES-256 encryption, automatic PII purging, minimal data footprint.
Trust Without Thinking
A minimal data footprint, because the best system is one your team can trust without having to think about it. CallIntel doesn't store your recordings or create new databases your team has to maintain.
A Bridge, Not a Silo
CallIntel acts as a real-time bridge, moving data from where it already lives to where your agents need it, when they need it. No new systems to learn. No new databases to maintain.
Why Insurance Agencies Specifically
Insurance is a uniquely relationship-dependent business operating inside a compliance-heavy environment. That combination creates specific demands that generic technology almost always misses.
Every caller has a history. Every conversation has potential E&O implications. Every agent is managing multiple systems simultaneously while trying to remain present with a client who called because something in their life changed.
The agencies that handle this well aren't the ones with the most tools. They're the ones whose tools create coherence, where the phone, the AMS, and the agent's attention are all pointing in the same direction at the same time.
That's the problem we set out to solve. And it's a problem we've had a combined front-row seat to for a long time.
